Abstract: Normothermic preservation provides metabolic support to an ischaemically damaged organ before use as a kidney transplant. Optimal conditions for ex vivo preservation have not yet been established. This study examined the effects of arterial pressure on renal preservation using isolated haemoperfused kidneys.
